Arriving this fall at Infiniti of Scottsdale, the freshened up 2016 QX50 will show off a new exterior look and larger dimensions! It was recently unveiled at the New York International Auto Show and we have official photos of its boldly updated sheet metal.
Infiniti has breathed fresh new life into the QX50 compact SUV, primarily by giving it a dramatic new look. Just like a fresh new suit might give you a boost in confidence, the 2016 QX50 definitely shines more brightly than ever with its exterior makeover.
Underpinning the 2016 edition of the SUV is a larger wheelbase that’s 4.5 inches longer and 3.2 inches wider. On the interior, this results in an increase of 8.3 cubic feet in volume, which is seen most in the extra amount of legroom second-row passengers will enjoy (up by 4.3 inches).
The exterior has also been thoughtfully restyled, featuring new headlights with LED accents and revised front and rear bumpers. More standard amenities have been added as well, including a moonroof that will come on all trim levels for the 2016 model year. Additionally, an attractive new Hagane Blue paint color will be available.
QX50’s interior is to remain largely unchanged aside from the increase in room, but that shouldn’t phase anyone. It carries over its upscale materials and innovative technologies same as before, while adding more room, features and appearance updates that enhance overall value for shoppers.
