Your INFINITI’s navigation system is perfect for getting you from point A to point B, especially if you’re not quite sure where point B is. It does require some updates occasionally, though. Like those in recent INFINITI vehicles, most navigation systems will last for about five years before they need an update. If you’ve had your INFINITI vehicle for nearly that long, you might be due for an update soon.
First of all, you’ll need to go to Navigation.com and click the INFINITI logo. When it takes you to the INFINITI page, click “Menu” at the top of the page, and select the make and model of your INFINITI vehicle. You’ll be taken to the product page for the DVD map update for your car. Click “Add to Cart” and “Check Out” to complete your purchase. Your updated DVD will be mailed directly to you.
When you receive your DVD in the mail, insert it in the proper slot in your INFINITI vehicle’s dashboard and start the car. Your updated maps should install.

PREVIEWING THE INFINITI QX60 MONOGRAPH

INFINITI revealed the QX60 Monograph, a near-production concept dramatically different from the current QX60 SUV. This is a design study informing how INFINITI will redesign its three-seat crossover SUV. In several ways, the QX60 Monograph is a marked departure from earlier versions of the QX60, which is one of INFINITI’s most iconic and popular luxury SUVs. A redesigned front end gives the Monograph a commanding look, with a new larger grille trimmed in chrome and larger vents. The LED headlights are reshaped this year with a slimmer design, which helps give the front end a more aggressive look. Overall, the Monograph showcases a smooth, futuristic exterior that’s daring and elegant.
The QX60 Monograph is expected to be on the market in 2021. There are no other details about the QX60 Monograph as INFINITI has not revealed what the interior will look like or which trims, engines, safety, and technology features will be available.

PREVIEW: 2021 INFINITI Q50

The 2021 INFINITI Q50 luxury sedan continues its winning combination of luxury and power. It comes with two powerful engines, one with 300 horsepower and one pushing 400 horsepower. This makes for one seriously fast sedan. A refreshed infotainment system joins a stylish, ultra-luxurious interior with several Q50 trims that can be accessorized and custom-fitted to your liking with add-ons across multiple packages.
The base trim, the 3.0t Pure, has much to offer with exterior LED lights. Its conveniences include ignition for a fast start and keyless entry. Leather upholstery and power-adjustable front seats, two standard touchscreen displays with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration. A six-speaker sound system comes standard on this trim. It also gets some notable safety features, including forward-collision warning and automatic emergency braking.
Next up is the 3.0t Luxe, which has a few upgrades. Two packages are available for this trim, including the ProAssist and the Essential. The Edition 30, includes all the previous standard features on the first two trims. It also has custom trim-specific styling inside and out. Following the Edition 30 is the 3.0t Sport, which has special sporty front seats and a 16-speaker Bose sound system. The mechanical system on this trim is more performance-oriented with adaptive dampers, larger brakes, and custom bumpers.
The Red Sport 400 is the top trim, with its unique, bold red exterior color and matching color scheme on the interior. You can get more safety options through the ProActive package.
There are two engine choices offered with the 2021 INFINITI Q50. The 3.0L twin-turbocharged V6 with 300 HP and torque of 295 LB-FT. The same engine gets a boost in horsepower and torque for the Red Sport 400, going up to a blazingly powerful 400 HP, with 350 LB-FT of torque. All-wheel drive is available on all trims, and a paddle-shift controlled 7-speed automatic transmission pairs with these engine choices.
